About

Christine Oleson

Photography

Christine Oleson's fine-art photography focuses on two main themes. First, she has a keen eye for nature and especially loves the close-up world of flowers. Then, as a licensed architecture she loves old-world doors and windows.

She believes capturing the realism of a setting. The powers of an image to inspire, relax, motivate, and provide a method of connection is what Christine strives for in her photography. Conveying the sense of a place has been her goal in architecture and photography.

Ms. Oleson, of Oleson Design Studio, has twenty-five years of experience as an Architect and Interior Designer. During college at University of Minnesota, in Minneapolis, Christine balanced drawing art classes, travel and her love of photography with the rigors of Architectural School. Christine has always loved to draw and photograph beautiful “plein air” settings.

Works by Ms. Oleson are currently on display in the gallery at The Perkowitz Art Studio, 116 S. IL Route 83, Grayslake, IL.
