Botanical Drawing

6 Week Course • Tuesday Evenings, 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm • $200/6-weeks plus supplies• registration required • recommended for ages 14 to adult

This 6-week class will introduce students to the colored pencil, basic drawing techniques. The effects of the pencil on papers, layering, blending techniques, and color effects. During this class students will work on 2 botanical colored pencil renderings.

This is a casual OPEN STUDIO TIME for those with experience in colored pencil illustration to be able to work on a project of your choice and get guidance as needed.

If you have a 3rd, 4th or 5th grader who has shown an interest in or talent for drawing, this is the class for them! Focusing on contour drawing, sketching, sighting, graphing, layering and perspective, Mrs. D. teaches how to systematically draw. Your student will leave the class with an organized understanding of how to draw.

In this 6-week class, you will produce your our traditional oil painting from concept to completion. Along the way, you will also learn the classic techniques and a bit of art history.

Watercolor Painting Class

This 6-week course is designed for everyone from those who have no or little experience in watercolor to experienced painters. It will focus on getting comfortable with watercolor painting techniques and enjoying the process of painting.
